The town of Biella rests within the province of the same name, in the region of Piemonte, northern Italy. More than 45,000 people live within the city, making it a moderate sized settlement for the region. The town sits about 80kms from the city of Turin, and can be reached by the railway link between the two communes. The city is only a few kilometres from the Italian Alps, and found upon the SR142, which is one of the most important roadways for the region.
