Discount Aosta Italy Hotels

Aosta is in the north-west corner of Italy, close to the French and Swiss borders. Aosta is located in the Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps. Parts of the charming city date from Roman times. Hotels in Aosta are spread around the city with a more centralised group of Aosta hotels and bed and breakfasts in the old quarter of the city. The city has numerous well preserved ancient structures and ruins, all within walking distance of the hotels in Aosta. The city walls are still standing as are two of its gates and several towers, including the Tour du Lepreux. There are also the remains of a Roman theatre. The 2,000-year-old Augustus Arch is just outside the city while the relatively new 11th century Aosta Cathedral is inside the city. Aosta hotels are a convenient base for Aosta Valley’s other attractions and outdoor sporting activities. The ski resort of Pila is linked to Aosta by a 20-minute cable car ride.
