Anglo Americano Hotel - Rome

The hotel has an excellent location, offering basic but comfortable accommodations, ideal for visitors looking for shopping or sightseeing in the city.

The rooms vary in size, with small bathrooms. They are all equipped with modern but dated furniture and decorated in basic style, with blue carpet and white painted walls.

There is just a breakfast room, which is nicely decorated with marble floor and vertical orange-and-white striped wallpaper on the walls. Small round tables, which can accommodated up to three guests, are dressed with cream-coloured tablecloths, and the chairs are decorated in blue and cream colours. An attractive crystal chandelier hangs in the middle of the ceiling, giving the finishing touch to this charming area.

The medium-sized lobby has marble floors covered with some fine rugs, blue-and-white striped wallpapers. It is furnished with black leather loveseats and small armchairs. The marble reception desk, the style and the finishing touches, such as the marble statues representing ancient Romans, provide a bit of ancient Roman atmosphere.

This is an old, 7-storey palace from the eighteenth century, in keeping with the surrounding area.
