Alberobello is a small town in southern Italy’s Bari Province. Alberobello is about 60kms south-east of the city of Bari. Alberobello is noted for its whitewashed trulli, which is a stone built house with a cone shaped roof. Converted trulli provide the buildings of some of the hotels in Alberobello. Alberobello hotels are scattered around the centre of town with several grouped on Via Sette Liberatori della Selva. Alberobello hotels range up to four-star. There are also self catering trulli’s, bed and breakfasts and a hostel in the town. The town has a few camp sites close to it. The town’s attractions are mostly within walking distance of the hotels in Alberobello. Attractions are the trulli, of which there are over 1,000, St Antonio’s Church, and the Monti shopping precinct where local handicrafts and souvenirs are on sale. The church is on a hill and offers amazing views of the local countryside. Alberobello has several annual festivals. Alberobello hotels are a good starting point for visiting other local towns such as Ostuni.
