You are advised that immigration formalities at the airport can take quite a long time, as lengthy security measures are in place which includes interrogation of all non-Israelis. It is possible, however, to avoid check-in lines, as ‘night-before’ check-in is offered. This is a modern airport fully-equipped with all the facilities and amenities that you would expect, including banks that are open 24 hours, currency exchanges, ATMs, duty-free shops, restaurants and a post office. Transportation: taxis can be found outside the airport’s reception hall. Buses also run from outside the terminal, near car park number 1 to the city. A new train service is also available, linking the airport with the city, operating from 03:00 until midnight, with the journey taking around 15 minutes. Parking: short-term parking is provided in a facility located at the entrance to the airport’s terminals, and in multi-storey buildings by Terminals 1 and 3. Long-term parking is found at the entrance to the airport grounds. | |
