The waters of the Red Sea beckon with their unique appeal: the clear blue waters are pleasantly warm in the winter, with water temperatures typically staying at 20°C or above.

It is really quite hot here in the summer, largely due to Eilat’s proximity to the Arabian, Negev, Sahara and Sinai deserts. Summer temperatures frequently exceed 40°C and the winter norm is around 22°C. The high summer temperatures are tempered, however, by the relatively cool (22°C to 25°C) waters of the Red Sea.
