It’s located in the centre of Eilat, next to road 90. Flights from Tel Aviv are frequently scheduled and take only 50 minutes to reach Eilat. The city centre can be reached on foot in around 10 minutes.
Ouvda International Airport (VDA) is Israel’s southern-most international airfield, and is located 40 miles north of Eilat. The airport was originally built in 1980 as a military airfield, at the time when Israel vacated the Sinai as a requirement of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty.

Parking: there is no provision for parking at Eilat airports. The nearest parking available is at Eilat municipal lots.
Transportation: by taxi it will take around 40 minutes to reach Eilat from Ouvda Airport, with services provided by both standard taxis and also limousines. Bus route 392 that connects Eilat and Be’er Sheva makes a stop at Ouvda Airport. The bus departs from Eilat’s central bus station hourly.
