Discount Zichron Ya’akov Israel Hotels

Zichron, Zikhron or Zikhron Yaakov to give the town its full name has been a popular holiday destination since the 1940s. Since that time the tourist infrastructure has grown and there are some really good hotels in Zichron despite the town remaining reasonably small. The town is in an idyllic location, where the Mediterranean Sea joins the southern edge of the Carmel Mountains and many of the Zichron hotels are conveniently situated to exploit the scenic views. The picturesque town has an historic centre with a fine array of craft and antiques shops, boutiques, and coffee shops. The famous Israeli Carmel-Mizrahi Winery has produced wine in the town for many years making it a popular purchase for visitors. Several of the restaurants and hotels in Zichron have bottles available on their wine lists and they are ideal to accompany most dishes. The large city of Haifa is only 35kms away from Zirchon and is popular for daytrips.
