Set in the southern end of the Carmel mountain range along the coast of the stunning blue Mediterranean Sea is Israel's coastal town of Zichron Ya'akov, a hive of beauty and activity. This picturesque town attracts thousands of tourists every year, both local and from abroad. The pedestrian malls of Ha-Navid Street and Ha-Meyasdim Street are the main tourist centres of the town and where a number of trendy cafes, bars, art galleries and boutiques can be found. Zichron Ya'akov is best known for its wine, and the famous Carmel Mizrahi Winery attracts a number of tourists each year to its free tour. Although much of the accommodations here is located within the town centre, there is still a good selection of Zichron Ya'akov Beach hotels. On the far south end of town and close to the beach is the Ramat Ha-Nadiv Gardens and Nature Park that provides a beautiful green oasis with spectacular views of the sea.
