The Israeli city of Netanya is on the coast and can boast many excellent beaches. It is situated between Tel Aviv and Haifa attracting many visitors to the resorts along the Mediterranean Sea. There are various standards of hotels in Netanya ranging from five-star luxury to the very basic and they are priced accordingly. The city is blessed with a reasonable range of shops or eateries though many guests find it preferable to dine in the restaurants of their Netanya hotels. Attractions and cultural experiences are best in the larger cities that can easily be reached with regular buses and trains to and from Tel Aviv and Haifa. The city is fairly small and activities are generally centred close to the beaches making cycling an ideal way to see the places of interest. Many of the hotels in Netanya have bicycles available and there are a number of rental outlets that are quite cheap.
