Introduction to Kerman, Iran
The city of Kerman is located in a large plain, almost 700 miles south of Iran’s capital, Tehran. There are hotels in Kerman; however, the selection is limited. The city offers few hotels in the mid-range category, so visitors are forced to slum it in budget range Kerman hotels, or splash out on an expensive plush resort. One of the best hotels is four starred and definitely worth the splurge. Aside from being located just 8kms from the airport, the hotel boasts all the usual mod cons including satellite TV. Other hotels in Kerman are a lot less inspiring, and sometimes seem a bit scuffed around the edges. Most Kerman hotels are dotted around the centre, so guests have easy access to all amenities. Nearly all of the hotels in Kerman have their own restaurant, as well as a laundry service. It is worth spending a bit more on the hotels as the low range options are often very disappointing.
