By air: Mataram’s Selaparang Airport is the only airport in Lombok. There are many frequent connections to Denpasar on Bali. International flights only operate to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Singapore. All other international flights have to go via Denpasar or Jakarta. Other daily domestic flights serve cities on Java, Sulawesi, Bali and other islands in Nusa Tenggara
By sea: another way to reach Lombok is by sea. There are slow boats leaving from Padangbai on Bali every two hours for Lembar on Lombok. The journey takes four hours. Fast ferries are also provided from Benoa on Bali once or twice a day, taking about two hours.
