Jakarta Travel Guide - Getting There

By air: Sœekarno-Hatta Airport is a modern and efficient airport that has two terminals and adequate facilities. Many domestic, budget and international airlines land here including Singapore Airlines, Qantas, EVA Air, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, Garuda Airlines, Air Asia and many more. Garuda, Merpati and Bouraq airways connect Jakarta to major cities in Indonesia.
By road: there is only one international road that links with Indonesia: from Sarawak in east Malaysia to Kalimantan. From Kalimantan, travellers will need to fly or take a boat to Jakarta.
