The airport is divided into two terminals with a free shuttle bus connecting them both. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights and is slightly smaller while Terminal 2 handles international flights including Ansett, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Japan Airlines, Japan Asia, Malaysia Airlines, Merpati Nusantara, Qantas, Royal Brunei, SIA Cargo and Thai Airways.
Both terminals have several banks, bureaux de change kiosks, several public telephones with free local call from the transit lounges, information desks, car hire kiosks, lost luggage services, toilets, food outlets, several shops and medical centres.

Transportation: the fastest way to reach the city is by car; self-drive, airport taxi or limousine. Bluebird Services offer passengers two options to get into the city: a metered limousine or an hourly rate. The drive takes about 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
Parking: is offered at both terminals, but there are only a limited number of spaces. Both terminals offer short and overnight car parking facilities but cars are parked at the owners risk and there have been a few cases of break-ins.
