Getting There

Getting to Bali
By air: Ngurah Rai International Airport gives the impression of being a small sleepy airport, but it deals efficiently with many international flights and is Indonesia’s second busiest airport after Jakarta. There are flights from Adelaide, Amsterdam, Auckland, Bangkok, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Frankfurt, Honolulu, Kaohsiung, Kuala Lumpur, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Munich, Osaka, Paris, Perth, Rome, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei and Tokyo.
Terminal facilities include ATMs, bureau exchange, duty free shopping, luggage storage and small dinning outlets. The airport is about 30 minutes from Kuta by car.
The tickets usually include the price of the bus fare, to get to the ferry terminal, and the ferry fare. Ferries running between Gillimanuk and Ketapang usually run daily, every 30 minutes from 05:00 to 21:00. Ferries depart from Benoa to Lembar in Lombok.
