Eating Out

Eating Out and Dining Guide to Bali
Seafood is a popular choice as it is fresh and cooked in a variety of tempting ways. Jimbaran Beach has rows of open restaurants on the beach that specialise in BBQs.
In Ubud, Monkey Forest is the main eating area with lots of trendy restaurants and quaint cafes serving everything from spicy Balinese dishes to Mediterranean dishes. Ubud also has many health food and vegetarian restaurants.
Along Jalan Bhina in Lovinia, there are several dinning establishments that cater to different tastes. The restaurants serve Mexican, Italian, Thai, Indian and many other types of cuisine, but Balinese seafood is favoured in the area.
Candi Dasa is renowned for its fresh seafood which is cooked in a variety of ways. You can feast on prawns, shark and barracuda and not have to worry about the price because it is so cheap. Several other restaurants serve Balinese food and even pizza. Denpasar offers plenty of authentic Indonesian and international cuisine that can be found at restaurants along Jul Sumatra, in hotels and in the markets.
