Harris Resort Batam - Batam Island

The Harris Resort Batam is located on Batam Island, one of the islands in the Riau archipelago. This deluxe C shape building surrounds its large free form pool while the other side of the building overlooks the strait of Singapore Island and the nearby marina. It is a bit away from the town centre, but around 10 minutes walk away is the ferry terminal where there are some shops and restaurants. The main shopping and dining area of Batam Island is a short drive away. All renovated guestrooms are comfortable and modern in style, all have a balcony with pool, garden or marina views, a private bathroom, a hairdryer, air conditioner, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a room safe, IDD phone, television with satellite channels and in house movies. Daily breakfast is served at Harris Cafe while H Grill & Bar serve BBQ. D Bar provides freshly brewed Brazilian coffees, Dilmah teas and homemade sweet tooth. In addition to the 5 restaurants and a large swimming pool, the resort also features a jacuzzi, a fitness centre, squash courts, bowling allay, table tennis, a spa with numerous treatments, traditional massage, a Dino’s kids club and bicycle tours. Water sport activities such as parasailing, jetski, cable ski, banana boat and beach games are also available. To get to this secluded resort, guest normally take a ferry about 20 km from Singapore and another 3 minutes drive to the resort. The other transport option is to fly to Hang Nadim Airport then take about 30 minutes taxi ride.
