Bus, though not the most comfortable means of travelling, the bus is convenient and the cheapest mode of transport on the island. Buses are almost always overcrowded and have small seats, not particularly comfortable for Westerners. There are several types of bus services available in Bali including air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. The tourist bus is one of the more comfortable services available. It offers larger seats, more leg room and is air-conditioned. The bus usually stops at tourist sites en route.
