Introduction to Bali - Sanur Beach
Bali's Sanur is the oldest resort town on the island. Nowadays, it is an upmarket area which caters to the older generations, making it less noisy than other parts of Bali. It is possible to rent a bike and use the cycle path which stretches from Jalan Mertasari all the way to the beachfront, and this will give visitors a good feel for the town. There is a good selection of diving schools that welcome beginners and take their customers out to some of the best dive spots around Bali in the area. Around the beach area, there are opportunities to take part in fun activities such as kayaking, parasailing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, kite surfing and windsurfing. It is recommended to visit Sanur in July when the International Kite Festival, which is an amazing spectacle, takes place. Pura Blanjong, a Hindu temple, is a point of interest for those interested in Hindu culture and Sindhu Market is perfect for guests who want to pick up souvenirs of their trip.
