Introduction to Bali - Lembongan Island
Bali's southeastern islands are excellent places to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday and are fast becoming popular vacation getaways. Lembongan is the most visited of these islands and has some of the clearest aqua-blue water around. This combined with its white-sand beaches, picturesque sunsets and fantastic diving and snorkelling opportunities results in a rewarding holiday. Surfing can be enjoyed here, as can yoga and the famous Balinese spa. This island caters to all budgets and therefore a wide range of Lembongan hotels can be found, from hostels all the way to pure luxury. It is one of the most relaxing islands in Bali and a great alternative to some of the much busier islands found here. Travellers wanting to explore can hike to the rocky outcrop of Devil's Tear or visit the mangrove forest on the northern part of the island.
