Introduction to Anyer - Bandulu Beach
The Indonesian town of Anyer is located on the island of Java, around 15kms to the south of Merak city and two hours by road from Jakarta. Its main landmark is its 40m tall 19th century lighthouse, built in 1885 as a memorial to the residents who lost their lives during the massive volcanic eruption of nearby Krakatoa, which completely destroyed the town.
