The airport is fairly small, but its few facilities do ensure that passengers have a measure of comfort at the airport. Facilities include a book shop, handicrafts emporium, duty-free shop, snack bar, postal services, money exchanging facilities, a restaurant and taxi services.

Public buses commute from Vasco do Gama city, about 4kms away and also to Chicalim bust stop, less than 2kms away, to the airport. However, the buses are usually overcrowded. If you are on a shoe string budget this would be a good option, but otherwise you should consider taking a taxi or at the very least a local mini bus. Mini buses travel to Vasco da Gama city and Chicalim but only carry about six passengers.

Parking: there are 120 parking bays at the airport for cars and coaches. A nominal fee is charged for parking and at present, only short-term parking is available.
