By air: Kheria Airport operates domestic flights between Agra and New Delhi, provided by Indian Airlines and Air Deccan. There are also flights connecting Agra to Khajuraho and Varanasi. The airport is about 9kms from the city centre.
By train: many trains depart from New Delhi for Agra with a journey time of three hours. The Shatabdi Express and Taj Express also travel to Agra. The luxurious tourist train, ‘Palace on Wheels’ departs from New Delhi and travels to Jaipur, Rajasthan and Agra. There are full range of facilities provided on board including snacks and food.
