Introduction to Vadodara, India
The western Indian city of Vadodara is in Gujarat State. It is thought of as the cultural capital of the state and is home to several religious edifices and the fabulous Lakshmi Vilas Palace. The city straddles the River Vishwamitri, with the old city quarter on the right bank of the river and the more modern Vishwamitri precinct just south.
