Nicknamed the 'Pink City' and famous for its Amber Fort, City Palace and being part of India's 'Golden Triangle' tourist circuit, the massive Rajasthani city of Jaipur is a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international travellers. Named after the warrior and astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II, Jaipur houses a number of stunning landmarks, with a large concentration of them are located in the North. As a result, there are plenty of Jaipur North hotels catering to all budgets, making it easy to visit these amazing sites. The City Palace is probably the most visited landmark in the Pink City. It consists of many museums, gardens and courtyards, and is home to the current Maharaja of Jaipur. Also found here is the important Govind Devji temple.
