There's not a lot to see here on a day out of the office, although the Secret Lake, now surrounded by a concrete jungle, is a good place to relax.
A few kilometres away are lush botanical gardens and the lovely Peddama temple, and it's easy to travel by train, bus or taxi to the centre of the city for its amazing street markets and the Old City on the river's southern bank.
