Cavelossim, India is a small community situated between the River Sal and the Indian Ocean in the country’s smallest state, Goa. Hotels in Goa Cavelossim are among the quietest in the state because the community is located in Goa’s less crowded southern part. Couples are especially attracted to the tranquil atmosphere this town can provide for a romantic holiday. Mobor Beach is one of two major beaches here, and its many beach shacks cater mainly to guests staying at one of the two major resorts behind the beach. At least six more beach shacks can be found further up the coast in Cavelossim Beach, which fronts the village itself. All of these beach shacks have different owners, cheap food and drinks, free sun beds and parasols, and weekly party nights complete with traditional dancing, fireworks, and even live fire eating performances. The community’s other main attractions are boat excursions to watch dolphins or fish for catch that many local restaurants are willing to cook.
