Hotel Description
Clarke’s Hotel is a 19th century hotel that is located in Shimla, which was the summer capital of India during the British regime. The building has large glass windows that provide guests with a clear view of the surroundings, and the hotel’s facade is similar to that of a ski lodge. All rooms are comfortably furnished. There is a restaurant and a bar that is as old as the building. Guests can take a 15 minute drive to get to Jakhoo Hill and the Viceregal Lodge. The hill is the highest point in Shimla and gives excellent views of the city. The lodge, on the other hand, is home to the Indian Institute of Advance Studies and features a Victorian architectural design.
