Additionally, visitors from the US, Canada, Australia and Japan are exempt from requiring a visa, as are those from the following destinations: Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, British Overseas Territories, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (SAR), Israel, Korea (Rep), Liechtenstein, Macau (SAR), Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Uruguay, Vatican City and Venezuela.

All other visitors will need a relevant visa for their trip which can be applied for at an Icelandic embassy in their country of origin.
