Reykjavik, situated in the south west of Iceland, is both the largest city and capital of the country, as well as being the most northern capital city in the world. However, with a population of fewer than 200,000 it’s a small enough city to have a personal feel and it’s easy to cover the key sights and attractions in a few days.
