The rooms vary in size, but all but a few are large. Designed by a Los Angeles based Icelandic interior designer, Gulla Jonsdottir, they are decorated with stylish state-of-the-art furniture and predominantly black and white colour schemes, though many of the rooms and notably the bathrooms have bare rendered walls. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in exceptional conditions as are the funky modern bathrooms.
The hotel has a smart, stylish breakfast room on the ground floor.
Lobby:
The lobby like the rest of the hotel is chic, modern and stylish, a great example of Icelandic contemporary interior design.
Exterior:
Half of this hotel is quite an old building by Reykjavik standards while the other half is brand new, blending together beautifully with an attractive white facade.
