By train: Keszthely and Balatonszentgyorgy stations both have connections to Budapest by train. It is possible to get a taxi from each station to Heviz that takes less than half an hour, meaning rail is a relatively convenient way to get here.
By road: driving anywhere in Hungary has become significantly easier for European motorists following entry into the EU, meaning that borders are now much less bureaucratic and therefore faster to navigate. Heviz is a relatively short drive for those in Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia due to its location to the west of the country.
