Mercure Budapest City Centre Hotel - Budapest

This is a good first class hotel, its cuisine being the most outstanding feature.

The modern rooms are medium sized and boast dark wooden furniture, brown carpets and pastel beige soft furnishings. All are in good condition. The bathrooms although rather small are well equipped and clean.

The breakfast room is on the first floor and overlooks the main street. The lunch and dinner restaurants are on the ground floor and serve excellent cuisine in the form of a buffet. There is also a delightful Viennese style cafe at the front of the restaurant. The area is always busy because of its excellent location.

The lobby is set quite a way back from the main entrance. It is necessary to pass through a small bar area and travel agency before reaching the small, brightly lit and modern reception area. The reception can also be reached through a back door.

This is a modern hotel with a concrete facade with red steel trimmings.
