Rooms are on average medium in size, but do vary slightly as this is an old building. Rooms are in good condition. The furnishings are modern, functional and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, modern and bright.
The hotel has two eateries. The main restaurant which is decorated in the same dark colours as the rest of the hotel is spacious and comfortable. The Janos beer-cellar, situated in the basement, is one of the most famous nightspots in Budapest, with a spectacular decor and lively atmosphere.
Lobby:
The lobby is medium-sized and fairly dark with dark brown furniture, several seating areas and a cosy bar.
Exterior:
Although the hotel itself has a long history, dating back over 100 years, the actual building was closed in 1976 and totally restored, and reopened in 1985. It now has a modern exterior and is situated on a busy downtown street.
