Zakynthos is a great destination for those who enjoy watersports and recreational activities. The majority of all beaches are located along the east coast, as the west coast has consistently strong winds. Away from the beaches, there are some good excursions to the mountain villages of Keri, Lithakia and Maherado, which are famous for their true Zakynthian hospitality.
