Health

Health for Visitors to Greece
Alternatively, if you have holiday insurance with provision for medical treatment, you’ll be able to take advantage of the higher standard of care available at the country’s private hospitals. Tap water in the major cities is considered drinkable but visitors with weak stomachs may prefer to drink bottled water which is cheap and readily available.
Standards of hygiene in restaurants, bars and other public venues is generally high but it’s wise to pack a first aid kit with some basic diarrhoea treatment included.
