During the high season, Corfu attracts many young Europeans looking to let their hair down with some serious partying. Kerkyra and all the island’s main tourist resorts have plenty of bars and clubs which stay open until dawn with dancing and drinking until people can take no more. The best areas for these clubs are resorts such as Roda, Dassia, Kavos, Ypsos and Gouvia.
Kerkyra, the capital of Corfu, probably offers the widest selection of nightlife options, with something to suit everyone. There are a good number of bars targeting tourists as well as plenty of traditional tavernas where you can enjoy some fine food and a few glasses of ouzo. You’ll find many of these places are popular with both locals and visitors alike.
Similarly you will find some of the bars offer live music, which might be traditional Greek style or modern pop music depending on the place, usually they’ll have a blackboard outside to let you know what’s on.
