Corfu is one of Greece’s Ionian Islands, located in the Ionian Sea close to the Albanian coast. Corfu has a rich history which has seen it ruled by different powers over the years, including a long period of Venetian rule, but ultimately there is a strong Greek culture here and many links to Greek mythology.
