There are a number of alternative options for reaching the city including: the airport express bus, which offers a good alternative to driving with six routes connecting the airport, city and the Piraeus.
Metro Line 3 connects the airport with the city with journeys taking approximately 30 minutes and trains running every 30 minutes. Alternatively, passengers have the option of taking a suburban rail service to Athens’ Central Railway Station (Larissis Station). These trains run more frequently than metro services, but take slightly longer at 38 minutes.
Parking: there is long and short-term parking available, with a total of 4,700 parking spaces. For a maximum stay up to 4 hours, it's advisable to use the short-term car park. The first 20 minutes of parking are free in the short-term car park, which is ideal for drop offs.
