Introduction to Sithonia, Greece
In the east of mainland Greece is the peninsula of Sithonia. It is a popular area among holidaymakers and travellers for its beautifully sunny weather and golden sand beaches. Hotels in Sithonia are located all along the peninsula’s coast and are a mixture of affordable and traditional guesthouses, beach resorts and self catering apartments, bungalows and Sithonia hotels. The self catering accommodations of the area are located outside of the peninsula towns though are still on the seafront, making them ideal for romantic holidays, while the guesthouses and hotels in Sithonia are inside the town centres such as in the busy and popular seaside resorts of Neos Marmaras, Vourvourou and Nikiti, which are the most popular and busy towns of the peninsula.
