Introduction to Mykonos - Vrissi
Vrissi is a peaceful neighbourhood whose location is less than a kilometre inland from the centre of the town of Mykonos, the most populated municipality on the Greek island. Vrissi hotels are situated far enough away from the middle of Mykonos Town for guests to be able to clearly see the stars at night, yet close enough for them to easily walk to the heart of the town. Advance booking is essential during the busiest and hottest summer months of July and August. Although the walk from Vrissi to central Mykonos Town is mainly downhill, the journey from Mykonos Town back to Vrissi requires climbing a few hills. The community is conveniently located on one of the island's main roads, Mykonos Ano Meras, which is served by bus connections to Platis Yialos and many other nearby Mykonos beaches.
