It is an easy 100 metre walk to a small sandy beach that has sun beds and umbrellas and wonderful views, and a few minutes walk to the main street, where a number of tavernas and small gift shops are situated. Zakynthos Town and airport can be reached by around a 10 - 15 minute drive. Surrounded by a tropical, plant garden the Mediterranee Hotel Zakynthos features a international and local cuisine restaurant and has a large outdoor pool, children playground and a pool bar. Guestrooms are a reasonable size and pleasingly decorated. This is a good choice for those seeking a good beach, scenic views, and a good value, clean, safe, restful place to stay at.
