Introduction to Kos - Kardamena
Kardemena is an attractive area of the picturesque Greek town of Kos. Many people come to Kardemena in order to get a taste of a traditional and authentic Greek fishing village. The local pier is an amazing place to go to enjoy some fresh seafood while you take in the magnificent sights of the fishing boats that sit floating on the sparkling blue water. If you want to be right near the beautiful pier area, make sure you book one of the good value Kos hotels found on Vironos Street. Vironos Street is probably one of the better locations to stay in Kardemena because the Kos hotels here are often more traditional both in terms of architecture and atmosphere. Nearby Harrmilou Street also has a large number of Kos hotels, but these are more like your typical Western-style, tourist hotels.
