The Herodion Hotel Athens is a first class option in the historic heart of the city, near the Acropolis and within walking distance of the Acropolis Museum, the Herodion Theatre, and the old town, as well as the best dining and shopping venues. The Parliament Building and Syntagma Central Square are both 15 minutes on foot. There are inexpensive and convenient public transport connections to Port of Piraeus, but guests who need more flexibility can hire cars on site. The hotel has two dining areas. One is to the front of the lobby and one is at the back of the lobby in a conservatory surrounded by greenery outside, giving a very relaxing feel to the otherwise hectic city. Local and international dishes are on offer.

The lobby is of a medium size and has recently been refurbished with stone flooring and pastel coloured walls. Extending to the rear of the lobby is a large lounge coffee/bar area reminiscent of a ski lodge, with wooden flooring and ceiling. It has a very cosy feel to it and overlooks the rear garden.

In keeping with the residential surroundings, the hotel is a low-rise building with extensive balconies overlooking the street or the Acropolis and surrounding neighbourhood.
