Hera Village Hotel Crete - Crete

The hotel is set in a total area of 68,000 sq. metres with gardens leading down to a small private beach (approximately ten minutes walk) for swimming and snorkelling. Alternatively, there is also an Olympic sized swimming pool closer to the accommodation. Overall a good property. Ideal for those looking for a relaxing break whilst still within reach of the lively resorts of Agios Nikolaos and Elounda.

The rooms are a mixture of studios and apartments. All are built in a rustic style with whitewashed walls and Greek style decoration. All rooms have a small kitchen area suitable for light food preparation, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator and hairdryer. All units also benefit from a small private terrace - some of which overlook the bay.

The main restaurant is built into the hillside with fantastic sea views. A variety of mainly Greek cuisine is served. Breakfast is served in the main building, whilst there is also a large bar which operates throughout the day.

The medium sized lobby is simple but perfectly adequate.

This is a very traditional whitewashed building with bungalows dotted behind.
