Anissaras is a small resort on the outskirts of Chersonissos, Crete. The resort is located on a hill and offers easy access to a number of beaches in the vicinity. Anissaras is considered to be much classier than its neighbour and Crete hotels here tend to be mid-range affairs. There also a couple of decent four-star options in the resort. The resort offers a quieter alternative to Chersonissos without being too far away from the action. There aren’t any bars or 'tavernas’ in Anissaras, but the centre of Chersonissos is less than one mile away.
