Analipsi is a small village on the Greek island of Crete. It’s located a few miles from the party town of Chersonissos and attracts those looking for peace and quiet away from its neighbour’s noisy nightclubs. Most guests spend their days relaxing on the beautiful Lyttos Beach. The beach has received a 'Blue Flag’ award for cleanliness and offers a variety of water sports. These include jet-skiing, kayaking and even windsurfing. Guests at Crete hotels in Analipsi can also take part in other outdoor activities such as hiking. Walkers can follow the Aposelemi River from the village, which leads to a gorge that offers some of the most magnificent views of the area. At night, guests will find plenty of restaurants and 'tavernas’ in the resort, most of which offer traditional Greek cuisine, while others have more of an international flavour. However, nightlife in Analipsi is quite tame and those looking for something livelier can easily get to Chersonissos by taxi.
