Stuttgart Travel Guide
Cycling and jogging: the biggest green area in the city lies in the city centre where the Upper, Middle and Lower Palace Gardens form a spacious area with a number of parks on the same premise. Cycling and jogging enthusiasts will find plenty of paths to satisfy their addiction.
Another excellent route starts in SchloBgarten towards Bad Canstatt, as far as Rosenheim Park. Picturesque sceneries of the vineyards, the Necklar Valley and lovely gardens can be seen along the way.
Mineral bath: Stuttgart is also renowned for its mineral waters, which are said to contain healing powers. Several mineral baths can be found at the Bad Cannstatt alongside saunas and swimming pools. So, if touring the city tires you out, why not head over to these relaxing, hot pools where you can free your mind and reduce your stress levels.
Cultural performance: known as the cultural capital of southwestern Germany, Stuttgart is well-known for its refined cultural performances, especially the world-famous Stuttgart Ballet. Visitors can catch these marvellous shows at the Staatstheater, while the State Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra boast several performances a week. Musicals fans can find many Broadway-styled performances at the Apollo and the Palladium theatres.
