Frankfurt Travel Guide - Activities

The team’s Waldstadion, located in the city park at Morfelder Landstrasse 362, is also home to the city’s American football team, called Galaxy. Frankfurt also competes in the first division of the national basketball league, and its team, the Opel Skyliners, founded in 1999, play at the Ballsporthalle, on Silostrasse 46.
Golf: can be played in sight of the historic castle, Schlosshotel Kronberg, on Hainstrasse 25, in Taunus, about nine months from Frankfurt. To play at this 18-hole course, you’ll need to be a member of an international golf club. This same rule applies at the Frankfurter Golf Club, located on Golfstrasse 41, in Frankfurt.
Swimming: many swimming pools are scattered throughout the city and most are of a high standard. One of the biggest facilities is Rebstockbad, at August-Euler-Strasse 7, offering both indoor and outdoor pools with wave machines and slides. Saunas, sunbeds and other facilities are also available, at extra cost.
Shopping: is a popular leisure time activity in Frankfurt. Goethestrasse features exclusive designer clothing and upscale jewellery boutiques. Oeder Weg and Berger Strasse represent the other end of the spectrum, offering interesting bargain and curiosity shops for you to rummage through at your leisure.
