Dusseldorf Travel Guide
By air: Dusseldorf International Airport is large and fully-equipped with facilities for passengers. The airport is served by many major airlines that connect the city with other major cities in Europe. The airport boasts first-class amenities including ATMs, bureaux de change, restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, and conference and meeting rooms.
There are many ways to get from the airport to the city. You can use taxi services, hop on a bus, or catch the SkyTrain, an automatic monorail connecting to the airport’s railway station. Central Dusseldorf is not too far away from the airport. It usually takes about 20 minutes by car.
By bus: Eurolines buses provide reliable services from most European destinations to Dusseldorf. The buses connect Paris and Warsaw to Dusseldorf daily. There are two services per week from London and three services per week from Prague.
Alternatively, you can also use the services of other bus companies such as Bandroch GmbH and Adorf GmbH. The buses serve the small towns in the Rhineland and arrive in the city on the northern side of the Bahnhofplatz.
